Edit fleet orders and add attachments

Change any detail of an internal fleet order after creating it, including the pickup address, and attach PDFs or images in the dashboard and the app.

Written by the Maxmove team

Owners, admins, fleet managers and dispatchers can change an internal order until it is delivered or cancelled.

Edit an order

  • Dashboard: open the order and select Edit next to Chat.
  • App: in Fleet control, open the order, tap the menu in the header and choose Edit.

One screen holds everything:

  • Route: change the pickup, stops and drop-off. The pickup stays editable until the driver arrives there; stops the driver has already reached stay as they are.
  • Price and, in the dashboard, the time window of each stop.
  • Reference and contact, and in the dashboard also customer and ordered by.
  • Stops: contact person and instructions for the driver at each stop.
  • Shipment details, vehicle type and proof of delivery.
  • Notes and attachments.

Shipment details, vehicle type and proof of delivery can change only until the driver reaches the pickup, because from then on they describe what was loaded. If the order splits goods across loading and delivery stops, adjust that plan first when you add or remove items.

When you save, the assigned driver gets a notification and sees the new details. A subcontractor receives an updated Transportauftrag.

Attachments

Attach delivery notes, order confirmations or screenshots as PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each and 60 per order. In the app you can take a photo, scan a document, or pick a file or an image.

Mark each file as Delivery note or Other. The driver photographs a signed copy of every delivery note at drop-off when your proof-of-delivery settings ask for it. Other files are only for reference. The driver sees all attachments; subcontractors see delivery notes.

You can add or remove attachments while the order is open. A delivery note the driver already photographed signed stays on the order.
