Review and process driver join requests

Review and process driver join requests in Maxmove: approve, reject, and track incoming drivers without delaying dispatch readiness or compliance.

Written by the Maxmove team

Use this workflow to process driver join requests without delaying dispatch readiness or compliance checks.

In the driver app’s Fleet Control workspace, open Home → Fleet management. This page groups drivers, operations, customers, finances, and insights and programs. Open Driver applications to review requests or Fleet policies to configure the fleet. Team and Vehicles remain directly accessible from Home.

Enable driver applications

In the fleet dashboard, open Settings → Platform. Enable Platform features, then Receive driver applications. The switch saves immediately.

Driver applications are off by default. Only changing this switch updates your choice; saving other fleet settings leaves it unchanged.

If the switch stays unchanged in an older driver app, update the app or change your choice in the fleet dashboard.

The Driver Placements tab in Administration appears only while both features are enabled. When either feature is off, direct links to the applications page are unavailable as well.

With Platform features enabled, you can also choose whether fleet drivers see marketplace orders and marketplace order prices here. Scheduling, pricing and payment for your own orders stay under Administration → Orders → Internal orders.

What this is

Driver join requests link individual driver accounts to your fleet for dispatch and finance operations.

What to provide

  • Driver identifier and requested role scope.
  • Required compliance status and document readiness.
  • Any assignment constraints before activation.

What happens next

  • Available now: managers can review requests, confirm eligibility, and complete approval decisions.
  • Requests that no fleet picks up within 30 days close and leave your list. The driver can apply again.
  • Rejected requests remain unlinked until corrected details are resubmitted.
  • Coming soon: deeper bulk-processing and review automation for larger fleets.

Keep rejection reasons explicit so drivers can fix issues without repeated back-and-forth.
