Which invoicing software suits courier services and small forwarders?

Maxmove creates invoices directly from completed transport orders: route, stops, waiting time and surcharges are already in the order, and the digital proof of delivery is attached. Send as PDF or e-invoice (ZUGFeRD, XRechnung), with payments and credit notes included. The invoicing module is free on every plan, whereas generic tools such as sevdesk or lexoffice require retyping every trip by hand.

What does the invoicing software cost?

Nothing. Invoices, e-invoices, payment tracking and credit notes are included in every Maxmove plan – including the free tier. Paid plans come into play when you want to dispatch your own orders, plan routes or accept marketplace orders at scale.

How is an invoice created from an order?

You open the invoice overview, select a customer's delivered orders and Maxmove takes route, stops, waiting time and surcharges over as line items. You check the PDF preview, add lines if needed and issue the invoice with a sequential number. The proof of delivery stays linked to the order.

Does it create ZUGFeRD and XRechnung e-invoices?

Yes. Every invoice can be output as ZUGFeRD PDF or XRechnung XML; both formats are validated against the KoSIT and veraPDF checkers before sending. You store the routing ID (Leitweg-ID) and buyer reference on the customer so invoices to public bodies and large clients are accepted straight away.

Does it work for small businesses and single drivers?

Yes. Small businesses under § 19 UStG issue invoices without VAT and with the statutory note; single drivers bill marketplace and own orders from the same interface. Getting started is free and there is no per-user licence.

Can I settle subcontractors with self-billing documents?

The fleet invoicing software creates customer invoices and credit notes correcting existing invoices. Self-billing your own subcontractors is not currently supported there. Our template library provides a separate self-billing template to complete manually.

Why not just use sevdesk or lexoffice?

Generic invoicing tools are good at bookkeeping but know nothing about orders: every trip with route, stops and waiting time has to be typed in again, and the proof of delivery lives elsewhere. Maxmove creates the invoice from the order. For bookkeeping and your accountant you export PDF and XRechnung.

How do invoices reach my accountant?

Every invoice is stored as PDF and, on request, as XRechnung XML in the invoice archive and can be downloaded or forwarded. Payments and credit notes are documented per invoice, so open items are traceable at any time.

Example: courier service bills the month in an hour

A courier service with three drivers has 140 delivered orders at month end. Instead of transferring every trip into an invoicing tool, the dispatcher selects the orders per customer, checks the preview and sends the invoices as e-invoices – the proof of delivery is attached to every line.
