This one-time setup takes about five minutes. A DocuWare organization administrator must complete it. Afterwards, Maxmove can file proof of delivery from internal orders in DocuWare. For other destination types, see POD destinations and integrations.
1. Open the app registration
In DocuWare, open:
Configurations → Integrations → App registration → New app registration
Choose Web application, then Next.
2. Enter the Maxmove settings
Use exactly these settings:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Name | Maxmove POD |
| Redirect URL | https://api.maxmove.com/api/pod/docuware/callback |
| Grant type | Authorization Code |
| Access token lifetime | 60 minutes |
| Allowed resources | Platform API |
| User provisioning | Do not enable |
| Use refresh token | Enable |
| Absolute lifetime | 90 days |
DocuWare generates the application (client) ID and the DocuWare endpoints automatically. Then choose Save.
3. Connect in Maxmove
After saving, DocuWare shows the Application (client) ID and the newly generated client secret.
In the Maxmove dashboard, open the DocuWare POD destination and choose Use a custom app registration. Copy the client ID and client secret directly into the matching fields. Do not send the client secret by email or chat, and do not take a screenshot of it.
Maxmove transfers the values encrypted and never shows the stored client secret in the dashboard again. Choose Connect DocuWare, sign in to DocuWare and give your consent. Then select the file cabinet and store dialog and file a test document.
Entering the client ID and client secret is a temporary step for the pilot. Once DocuWare approves the central Maxmove registration, the DocuWare URL is enough and this step is no longer needed.
Settings not to use
Do not use Single-page application, Native application, Client credentials or Power Automate API keys. The Maxmove POD integration uses the OAuth authorization code flow of a server-side web application.
