We’re a startup in the decisive phase of market entry. With Maxmove, we’re building an innovative last-mile logistics platform and are now looking for a Founding Engineer to help shape the company from the ground up.
Scope
- Design, build, and evolve backend services, APIs, and architecture for our logistics platform
- Own infrastructure topics such as databases, cloud deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD
- Shape the technical roadmap, product direction, and core architecture decisions
- Prototype and validate features quickly, including AI-based matching, route optimization, and demand prediction
- Help hire and mentor the first engineers as the team grows
- Establish engineering culture, best practices, and documentation from scratch
Profile
- Strong engineering background with 2+ years of hands-on software development
- Backend experience in Go or Node.js/TypeScript plus a solid understanding of APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Full-stack mindset across backend, frontend, and data workflows
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor
- High ownership, strong initiative, and the ability to operate well in ambiguity

Scope
- Build and grow our social media channels across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Plan, create, and publish content such as posts, stories, reels, and short videos
- Shoot and edit videos, including being comfortable appearing on camera
- Create and maintain an editorial calendar with topic research and content organization
- Use AI tools to produce content and videos more efficiently
- Support community management by handling and forwarding comments and messages
- Create, revise, and maintain website content
Profile
- Creativity and a good feel for design, language, and trends
- Confident use of Canva, Figma, or similar design tools
- Basic experience in photo and video editing
- Early hands-on exposure to social media, privately or professionally
- Interest in marketing, communication, and brand building
- Strong written communication in German and English
- A self-directed, structured, and reliable way of working
