When you book a delivery, you can either choose a vehicle yourself or describe what you are moving and let Maxmove recommend the vehicle. Both paths create the same delivery order.
What this is
Use Items when you know the cargo but not which vehicle it needs. Use Vehicle with driver when you already know the vehicle class you want.
The recommendation is based on the size, quantity, and weight of every item. Maxmove picks the smallest vehicle that carries everything.
What to provide
- Choose a size for each item: S, M, L, XL, Euro pallet, or Custom.
- Enter the quantity and the weight per unit.
- For Custom and Euro pallet, enter the length, width, and height in centimetres.
- Mark items as Fragile or Keep upright if they must not be stacked or turned. Do not stack is available when neither of those already applies.
- Add more lines with Add item for cargo of different sizes. One order can hold up to one hundred lines.
An optional short description such as "spare parts" helps the driver at handover.
What happens next
- The app shows Recommended: followed by the vehicle name as soon as the items are complete.
- You can switch to a larger vehicle from Available vehicles. A vehicle that is too small for the items cannot be selected.
- The price is calculated for the vehicle you confirm.
- Your item list stays on the order. The driver sees it before accepting, and it is used for package labels and proof of delivery.
If no suitable vehicle is found
The app shows No suitable vehicle found when the items exceed the largest available vehicle. Check the quantities and dimensions first. If the cargo really is that large, split it into two orders or contact support for a fleet quote.
