Supported phone numbers and country codes

Check which phone-number formats Maxmove accepts, which countries support app-download links by SMS, and what to share when SMS or verification fails.

Maxmove uses phone numbers for account verification, sign-in, urgent delivery contact, and optional app-download links. The supported countries depend on what you are trying to do.

Before contacting support

Tell support:

  • Which country your phone number is from.
  • Whether you are verifying an account, signing in, changing your number, or requesting an app-download link by SMS.
  • The exact error message and when the latest attempt happened.

Do not send your full phone number or verification code in support chat. Your current physical location does not determine whether a number is supported.

Number format for accounts and verification

  • Use a valid phone number that can receive SMS.
  • Select the country your number is from so Maxmove applies the correct country code.
  • If you paste the full international number, start it with + and the country code, for example +49 for Germany.
  • Do not add a second country code. Check the number carefully before requesting another code.

SMS delivery for account verification can vary by country and mobile network. Support should confirm which country the number is from and the affected flow before saying whether delivery is available.

The “send me the app link by SMS” feature currently supports mobile numbers issued in:

  • Austria (+43)
  • Bulgaria (+359)
  • Croatia (+385)
  • Denmark (+45)
  • France (+33)
  • Germany (+49)
  • Italy (+39)
  • Luxembourg (+352)
  • Netherlands (+31)
  • Poland (+48)
  • Switzerland (+41)
  • Ukraine (+380)

This list applies only to app-download links by SMS. A number outside this list may still work for account sign-in or verification.

If no SMS arrives

  • Confirm which country the number is from and the selected country code.
  • Check that the number is a mobile number and can receive SMS.
  • Wait for the resend timer before trying again.
  • Check blocked-message or spam settings on the device.
  • If the problem continues, contact support with the country, affected flow, error message, and time of the latest attempt.
