Use Maxmove in Claude

Connect the Maxmove MCP connector to Claude to check serviceability, get binding quotes, book transports, and track orders in conversation.

The Maxmove connector links your Maxmove account to Claude over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You can check whether an address pair is inside the Maxmove service area, compare vehicle types, request binding quotes, review and confirm transport bookings, track orders, and reach Maxmove support — all inside a Claude conversation.

Requirements

  • A Maxmove account with an active personal, business, fleet, or driver organization.
  • A Claude account on a plan that supports connectors. On Claude Team and Enterprise, an admin may need to enable the connector for your workspace.

1. Connect the connector

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and add Maxmove from the connector directory. Alternatively, choose Add custom connector and enter https://api.maxmove.com/mcp.
  2. Select Connect and sign in with your Maxmove account when the Maxmove login page opens.
  3. Approve the requested access. The connection starts with read access only.

If you belong to several Maxmove organizations, the connection uses your currently active organization. Switch the organization in Maxmove and reconnect to change it.

2. Approve write actions when asked

Consequential actions — creating a booking, cancelling an order, or fleet dispatch changes — need additional write permission. Claude asks for this approval the first time such an action is used. Every write action also requires your explicit confirmation in the conversation before it runs; quotes alone never create orders, reserve capacity, or charge you.

What you can do

The available tools depend on your account type and role:

  • Personal and business accounts: check serviceability, compare vehicle types and extras, request binding quotes, review and confirm bookings, list and track transports, cancel orders, and start a support conversation.
  • Fleet control roles (owner, admin, fleet manager, dispatcher): inspect the order board and vehicle readiness, claim or release marketplace orders, and move internal order schedules — each change is confirmation-gated.
  • Drivers: read your own route, orders, and tours, acknowledge released tour revisions, and go off duty. Navigation, proof of delivery, and going online stay in the Maxmove Driver app.

Ask "What can the Maxmove connector do for my account?" in Claude at any time — the answer reflects your actual role.

Bookings and payment

Quotes are binding server quotes with an expiry time. A booking is only created after Claude shows you the reviewed quote and you explicitly confirm it. Bookings confirmed in Claude currently support monthly invoice or cash payment. For card payment, complete the booking at maxmove.com.

Data and privacy

The connector only accesses data of the account and organization you signed in with, and only through the permissions you approved. Details are described in the Maxmove privacy policy.

Disconnect

Remove the Maxmove connector in Claude under Settings → Connectors. This revokes Claude's access to your Maxmove account.

Common issues

"This account is not supported": Your membership has no eligible role, or no active organization is selected. Select an organization in Maxmove and reconnect.

A write action is rejected with a permission error: Approve the additional write permission when Claude asks for it, then retry the action.

An address is declined: Maxmove serves defined service areas. Use the serviceability check first; outside the service area no quote is possible.
