VW Caddy Cargo Maxi: load space and load area
353 millimetres more floor length than the Caddy Cargo — and a sliding door a Euro pallet actually fits through.
The VW Caddy Cargo Maxi's load space is 2,150 mm long, up to 1,614 mm wide and 1,264 mm high, giving 3.7 m³ of cargo volume. Its sliding door is 836 mm wide — enough for a Euro pallet — and the rear aperture measures 1,234 × 1,122 mm.

All figures are manufacturer values for standard vehicles. Payload and height depend on engine, trim and body — your own vehicle registration document is what binds.
The Euro pallet figure follows floor geometry alone (1,200 × 800 mm). Payload and load securing remain binding in every case.
Will it fit?
Pick a body variant and what you want to move — the calculator checks the load space, the rear aperture and the payload.

353 millimetres more, and what they buy you
The Maxi shares its entire cross-section with the Caddy Cargo: 1,614 mm wide, 1,230 mm between the wheel arches, the same rear aperture. Only the floor is longer — 2,150 mm instead of 1,797 mm.
For cargo volume that means 3.7 m³ instead of 3.1 m³. For Euro pallets it means nothing: the Maxi still takes two crosswise on the floor, because a third would need roughly 250 mm more.
The 836 mm sliding door is the real argument
At 836 mm the Maxi's sliding door is wider than the 800 mm short side of a Euro pallet. Volkswagen markets it as Euro-pallet capable for that reason — the standard Caddy, at 695 mm, is not.
If you load from the side at ramps or on narrow streets, that one number is essentially what you are buying.
