Delivery & transport operations

Two-person handling uses two people jointly for carrying, securing and handing over a shipment. It applies to heavy, bulky, sensitive or service-intensive items.

Service-time model

Beyond driving, the stop includes parking, building access, carrying, stairs, unpacking and confirmation. Example: 8 minutes for parking and access, 12 for carrying, 10 for positioning and 5 for evidence gives 35 minutes of service time.

Site checklist

Before the route, confirm floor, lift, door widths, stairs, walking distance, aids and final position. For bulky goods, the narrowest passage often matters more than vehicle capacity.

The service must be clear in the transport order. Workplace-safety duties and risk assessment remain essential; two people alone do not make an unsafe task safe. Maxmove can keep the team, service time and handover requirements visible with the order and attach the final proof of delivery.
