Delivery & transport operations

A special run is individually planned for a particular shipment or operational exception. It sits outside standard parcel, line-haul or groupage processes.

Five-point quotation check

A useful request identifies route, timing, dimensions and weight, required vehicle, and loading and handover needs. “Urgent” alone defines neither vehicle class nor latest acceptable delivery.

Practical example

A spare part must reach a factory near Kassel from Cologne by 4 pm. It weighs 180 kilograms, is non-stackable and will be loaded by forklift. Those details allow the operator to check vehicle, timing and price; missing loading information could produce the wrong vehicle.

A direct run is a common execution. With a very short lead time, the service may be an urgent delivery. Maxmove connects the request, assignment, live status and proof of delivery in one traceable case.
