Roles decide who can work on orders and who manages the workspace, the team and billing. Give each team member the role that matches their job.
Compare roles
| Task | Owner | Admin | Business manager | Site operator | Member |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Create and edit business orders | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | Yes |
| See orders and delivery status | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | Yes |

Some features also depend on your plan. A role alone does not unlock them.
What each role does
- Owner: has full responsibility for the workspace. Owners manage company, billing and tax details, invite and remove team members, assign every other role and can delete the workspace. The owner role cannot be changed or removed in the normal team settings.
- Admin: helps the owner run the workspace. Admins create and edit orders, manage company, billing and tax details, and invite, change or remove team members. Admins cannot delete the workspace or change the owner.
- Business manager: handles day-to-day transport work. Business managers create and edit orders, track open and completed orders, and use order messages and documents.
- Site operator: coordinates arrivals and reservations at your sites. Site operators see a site's day plan and reservations, review and reschedule reservations, assign resources, check visits in, start and complete them or mark them as no-shows, and issue or revoke time-limited arrival links. They cannot manage business orders or site master data.
- Member: works on transport orders. Members create and edit orders, track orders and delivery status, and use order messages and documents.
Business managers, site operators and members cannot manage team roles, company details, payment details or billing settings.
Invite members and change roles
Owners and admins open Settings → Team in the business workspace to invite members, cancel open invitations, change roles and remove members. You cannot change your own role or the owner role there.
- Assign roles by responsibility, not convenience.
- Remove access as soon as someone leaves or changes jobs.
- Review access regularly so each person keeps only what they need.
If a feature is missing
- Is the right business workspace selected? Roles only apply in the active workspace.
- Do you have the required role?
- Is the feature included in the workspace's plan?
- Does an owner or admin need to set it up first?
For access issues, include the member's email and expected role when contacting support.
