Outsourcing warehouse logistics

When your own warehouse runs out of space, staff or headroom for seasonal peaks, outsourcing is the next step. Your request goes to partners running their own warehouse space and inventory management.

We broker this transport to partner forwarders

Warehousing services require own warehouse space with inventory management. Maxmove does not operate warehouses.

You describe the load, dimensions, date and route. We collect the quotes from vetted partner forwarders and come back with a concrete proposal, so you do not run the coordination yourself.

What warehouse logistics covers

More than floor space: goods receipt and inspection, storage with inventory management, order picking, packing and dispatch handling, plus returns processing. Renting space alone leaves the work with you — outsourcing starts when the movement goes too.

How it is billed

The usual split: a storage fee per pallet space and period, handling charged per movement — per goods receipt, per line, per order. That structure makes the price predictable but shifts the risk: with many small orders, handling dominates, not storage.

Where outsourcing projects fail

Rarely on price, usually on data integration. If stock does not flow automatically between shop, ERP and warehouse, you get duplicate maintenance and overselling. Settle the interface before you settle the space.
