Internal order proof of delivery — Overview

See how proof of delivery works for internal fleet orders: drivers and external carriers upload timestamped evidence directly on the order.

Internal order proof of delivery is built into Maxmove orders. Fleet managers create an internal order, assign it to a fleet driver or external carrier, and receive timestamped delivery evidence on the order record once delivery is complete.

How order POD works

  • Fleet manager creates an internal order with shipment details, reference numbers, contacts, and proof-of-delivery policy.
  • The order is assigned to a fleet driver through the normal assignment flow or shared with an external carrier by email, SMS, WhatsApp, QR code, or link.
  • The driver uploads photo proof through the mobile app or the web upload page.
  • Delivery notes and uploaded photos become native order POD artifacts.
  • The fleet manager reviews the POD in the internal order view, downloads the generated PDF, or forwards it through destinations.

Where you access order POD

  • Fleet Dashboard: open Fleet → Internal Orders.
  • Mobile Driver App: assigned fleet drivers upload pickup and dropoff proof inside the order flow.
  • Web Upload: external drivers use the shared upload link or QR code without a Maxmove account.

Key capabilities

  • Order-based tracking with POD checkpoints and status history.
  • QR code and shareable upload links for external drivers.
  • Multiple uploads per order checkpoint when more evidence is needed.
  • Delivery-note attachment and PDF download from the order record.
  • Notification delivery via push, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or link sharing.
  • Destination export to webhooks, DocuWare, Snowflake, and cloud storage.

Order POD replaces paper delivery receipts with a structured, auditable workflow tied directly to dispatch, assignment, and order history.
