Book now vs schedule later
When to use immediate pickup and when to schedule a future time.
The booking flow supports immediate pickup and scheduled pickup modes, depending on your operational need.
Use “Now” when
- Shipment is ready and pickup should start immediately.
- You can keep sender/recipient available during matching and dispatch.
- Time-critical handover is more important than exact pickup slot.
Use “Later” when
- Pickup or recipient readiness depends on a planned time window.
- You need coordination across multiple stops or teams.
- You want to reduce failed handovers due to availability mismatch.
Changing schedule, route, or stops after confirmation can affect assignment speed and final pricing.
